WELCOME

Throughout the different human race civilizations stories of the DOOMSday soon to come have always persisted. Whether it will come from higher powers as punishment for our sins or from mother Nature still uncertain. But what it is true, is that must of those ancient civilizations have set our present as the time in which these events could take place. From the Egyptians to the must mentioned predictions of the Mayans, they not just proclaimed of an end of days, but instead they warn us of a new beginning. This blog has been created to share our thoughts on this topic. How to prepare for unforseen worldwide events or any inputs of interest that might find answers to our member's questions regarding our survival. Please feel free to share.

“Be Rich in times of misery”

Having a grocery store in which to acquire provisions becomes a luxury, if it still available during a dooms day event. Here is when having something to trade with comes handy. It is difficult to predict what you will need or what you will run out of first in your supply list. Keeping items such as silver coins, alcohol beverage/Rum bottles, lead in small bricks or balls which can be used to make gun ammunition, become a commodity in a post apocalypse event.

These not commonly used items (including alcohol beverages like in my own case as no one in our household drinks more than a glass of wine occasionally) become a good trade currency to others who will be glad to exchange other goods for it. Take a look and research into “what” move other people in terms of them giving up whatever it is you could use during harsh times, such as food; medicine; etc.

*Alcohol; cigarettes; lead; silver; whatever you consider for the purpose of trading in need be, make sure it is something you won’t see yourself needing later for your own use. Packing up “only” what you “think” you and your family might need will put you in a position of having to trade some of it for else you didn’t expect to run out of, then finding yourself in need of that later. Whatever medicine; food; water and other supplies should be consider as first priority and not trade items, unless emergency requires for you to so. Having specific items for the specific use of trade will avoid the need to let go on first priority ones.

If medicines are not available, make use of nature's kindness!

Take a note of these medicinal herbs for when medicines are scarce.

* Aloe: Good for treating minor cuts and burns.
* Basil: Anti-inflammatory.
* Cayenne Pepper: Lowers Blood Pressure.
* Parsley: Reduces fever.
* Mint: Helps with upset stomach and relieves external pains.
* Thyme: Aids digestion and helps with cold symptoms.

These plants as many others as well could make the difference during times in which access to proper health care is not an option available. Research the topic and feel free to uploaded here for everyone to notice.

The power of our faith, and our Will to live a better life.

Sometimes we argue with others, ourselves and even higher powers looking for explanations and answers for those unfortunate events that come across our paths in our lives. Most of us look for excuses and blame everyone and even God without realizing we most be responsible for our actions.
Speaking from my personal experience, I came to realize just recently how wrong I been in the last few years when the economic part of my life suffered a huge turn around south taking me with it.
It was until recently that I understood the meaning of keeping not just our faith, but a positive attitude as well. I guess as humans we always tend to blame others. We look further away from us for what could caused our problems and complaint about it without coming to the conclusion where we must stop complaining, take action and move forward.
Funny thing is, I also came to realize that, years ago, that used to be my attitude to everything in life. But as I became comfortable with my personal "achievements" I also let down my faith and desire to keep pushing forward as long as I still breath.
So, as I mentioned early, I came to that conclusion. I stopped complaining and put the wheels into spinning action again. Then, like magic, the power of my faith in God and the ways of the Universe seem to have impacted my life once more. Not like they ever stopped, I just let go on them back then.
If the World is to reach its peak and end soon like predicted by some throughout human history, I

Just five months...and counting down..

If the Mayans were correct, Dec 21st 2012 would mark a new era in our human civilization. Whether this is, or would be real or not, we should consider at least to think back in our lives and take a look not at what could it be if we had done things different, but how can we make a difference in our present and future time remaining in our lives. Who can we affect in a positive way so that if any real threat to humanity comes soon, the memory of our good deeds could serve as the foundation to rebuild a better world.
Share your thoughts here on this blog, and with those around you. It won't cost anything. And if God allows us to continue exist and populate this world way further than Dec 21st, besides the fact of maybe probing wrong our theories on what the Mayans really meant in their calender's prediction, our rewards should be that of a better life enjoyment just for the fact of doing something towards our own existence for our present and future generations. Share goodness and let go on any negative holding us back from the real meaning of life. Be positive, share family moments and create new and ever lasting family and friends memories... and we will never be forgotten.
